Graduated from Dept of Psychology, Univ of Tokyo; completed Ph.D. program of Grad Sch, U Tokyo, received Ph.D. (psychology). After training at Neuroscience Section in ETL, Japan, at Lab of Neural Control in NIPS, Japan, and at Vision Sciences Lab in Harvard Univ, USA, worked as a research scientist at Human and Information Sci Lab of NTT Communication Sci Labs. Present position since April of 2005.
